Midland Mandaps Ltd Scoops Prestigious Britain’s Asian Wedding Award
East Midlands firm, Midland Mandaps Ltd, were awarded ‘Mandap Provider of the Year 2019’ at last night’s (18th March) prestigious awards ceremony at the Piccadilly Mercure Hotel in Manchester.
Britain’s 3rd Asian Wedding Awards 2019 celebrated the hard work and commitment of Britain’s ever-growing wedding industry.
Midland Mandaps Ltd won the top prize in their category. Joint managing director, Bobby Sharma, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award. This year is a huge milestone for us, we are also celebrating our 10th anniversary of the business. Thank you to everyone that voted for us, the wedding business is highly competitive so to receive this award is fantastic and a testament to our passion for the wedding industry.”
A Mandap is a temporary 4-pillar structure erected for use during the Hindu wedding. All the main wedding ceremonies take place under the mandap. “Traditionally real wood structures are used but we have expanded our range to include more modern and contemporary Mandaps such as Floral Draped and beautifully carved fiberglass.” added Bobby.
